A wild day

A wild day at Egremni is one of those days you will never forget… Egremni is a remote beach located on the south-western coast of the Ionian island of Lefkada.

From the 1990s the beach has become one of the favourite touristic spot on the island and in Europe. Few minutes drive from Anerada Houses, the beach of Egremni is one of those place you have to work for: 347 steps down the cliff lead to the most turquoise sea ever seen.

On November 17th 2015 Lefkada was hit by an earthquake that destroyed the access to the beach that was restored this year. There are some touristic boats from Nydri and Vassiliki that cruise daily to Egremni.

The waters of Egremni are extraordinary clear and the scenery is really impressive. Egremni beach, according to Travel + Leisure, is one of the “13 Places Where You Can See the Bluest Water in the World”.

Going there, don’t forget your camera!
